Optical Brightener OB-1

Optical brightener agent OB-1 is used in the molding of various plastics and plastic products at high temperature. Due to its excellent properties of heat resistance, light resistance and chlorine bleach, the whitening effect of the whitening agent for polyester fiber, cotton and other fiber blended fabrics is especially ideal. Ob-1 can also be used for plastic whitening such as ABS, PS, HIPS, PA, PC, PP, EVA and hard PVC, etc. Optical brightener OB-1 can also be significantly improved when it is added to polyamide fiber, nylon and polyester. 

Matters needing attention:

(1) The optical brightener OB-1 does not get whiter with more and more, but has a certain saturation concentration. Beyond a certain fixed limit, not only there is no whitening effect, but also yellow phenomenon. 

(2) When using OB-1, optical brightener for LDPE and soft PVC, special attention should be paid to the control of dosage. Excessive dosage will cause whitening agent migration.

 (3) The compound fluorescent whitening agent is used in combination with two different grades of whitening agent. If selected appropriately, it can be additive. 

(4) The addition of ob-1, a fluorescent whitening agent, will slightly reduce the aging resistance. 

(5) When using ob-1, gloves and protective glasses should be worn to avoid direct contact with the skin or eyes. In case of skin contact, rinse with water and soap.
