Optical Brightener KSN

Optical brightener KSN is a benzoxazole compound, and its appearance is a yellow crystalline powder with a melting point of 271℃, insoluble in water, odorless, and stable in performance. Optical brightener KSN is often used in high grade plastics that require extremely high whiteness.

KSN and OB-1 share similar chemical structure, while KSN has better whitening effect on PC and plastics than OB-1, also better compatibility than OB-1.

Optical Brightener KSN also has high temperature resistance performance. But also light and weather resistance than OB-1. KSN is suitable for PA, PAN, film, injection/extraction mould whitening. Hostalux KSN is a ideal effect could achieved in any processing time of synthetic polymer.
